Mohammedan lose important points

Second position holders Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited lost important two points against Bangladesh Police Football Club in the ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Premier League match at the Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh as the both sides shared one point each after a goalless tie on Saturday.

Mohammedan, who tasted three successive win in the last three matches, tried hard to break the deadlock but they failed to score once. The traditional Black and White outfits recorded the highest margin win in the previous match as they beat Brothers Union 8-0 in the last week but this time they forgot to score.

However, Mohammedan still remained on the second position with 27 points from 13 matches, seven points down to league leaders Bashundhara Kings and two points up the third position holders Abahani.

Bangladesh Police remained on the fourth position with 18 points from same number of outings.
